Housed in a former monastery, Hotel Indigo Nagasaki Glover Street has been thoughtfully reimagined for a new chapter.
Inspired by this heritage, our afternoon tea from June to August features herbs and spices rooted in European monastic traditions.
In monastic life, herbs were cultivated to heal and gently enrich daily living, while spices were also treasured and used in both food and remedies.
Together, their aromas create a refined depth of flavor.
Set against a Sugar Road–inspired world of sweetness, enjoy a moment where fragrance and indulgence come into harmony—lingering softly with every bite.

Enjoy a limited-time summer afternoon tea inspired by monastic culture,
featuring herbs and spices woven throughout the sweets, savory selections, and welcome drink.
The menu includes a citrus panna cotta scented with cardamom, a crepe roll with roasted banana and coriander seed,
and seasonal flavors such as Nagasaki-grown melon with mint and loquat accented with star anise.
Together with savory creations infused with aromatic spices and herbs,
this afternoon tea brings the fragrant depth of monastic traditions into harmony with the sweet legacy of the Sugar Road.
