Following the success of our autumn afternoon tea, we are delighted to continue our collaboration this winter with the Kyoto-based confectionery brand “KAHOU.” Inspired by the history of sugar culture spreading from Nagasaki to Kyoto, this partnership brings together KAHOU’s blend of tradition and innovation with the rich flavors of Nagasaki.
The result is a “journeying afternoon tea” that weaves together delicate Kyoto confectionery techniques and local ingredients from Nagasaki—an experience you can enjoy only here. We invite you to savor a truly special moment with us.

Indulge in seven original hotel sweets, including “Tamahibiki -Yukou-,” featuring Nagasaki’s rare citrus fruit yukou sandwiched in a light ukishima cake with KAHOU’s signature cream filling, where the delicate artistry of Japanese confectionery meets the bounty of Nagasaki.
Our savory selection includes four playful creations by our chef that capture the spirit of the local neighborhood, such as a mini slider inspired by Nagasaki’s famous lemon steak.
For a welcome drink, enjoy a hot chocolate inspired by the story of chocolate’s first arrival in Japan during the Edo period in Nagasaki. Known at the time as “shokurato,” chocolate was brought across the seas by Dutch ships, and our drink carefully preserves the rich, original flavor of cacao to evoke its historic journey.
Other beverages include our hotel’s signature coffee that reinterprets the traditional blend introduced to Nagasaki with a modern touch.
