COFFEE FLIGHT "ORIGIN"

Collection of Original Coffee Drinks That Emanate Fragrance Across Time

A Coffee Journey Exploring the History and Flavors of Nagasaki

Back in 1641, the Dutch brought coffee beans to Dejima in Nagasaki, marking the beginning of coffee in Japan.
At Hotel Indigo Nagasaki Glover Street, we pay homage to that era by reimagining the coffee blend of the time through a modern twist.
Roasted using a direct-fire method reminiscent of traditional techniques, the coffee features a rich, nutty aroma with a hint of citrus-infused bitterness, offering a taste that bridges past and present.

COFFEE FLIGHT "ORIGIN"

We offer three original coffee drinks crafted with our hotel’s signature blend, combined with locally inspired ingredients from Nagasaki — including chocolate, believed to have first arrived in Japan through Nagasaki; the rare citrus fruit Yuko; and brown sugar from the Shimabara Peninsula.
Take in the rich aroma of coffee in a special space filled with the soft glow of stained glass from a once-sacred chapel.
