Autumn time limited afternoon Tea Themed on "Sugar Road"
An autumn-Exclusive Afternoon Tea Collaboration Featuring Nagasaki’s Bounty and Elegant Japanese Sweets
Once the only gateway for trade with the West, Nagasaki has long been a crossroads of culture.
This autumn, we spotlight the history of sugar culture that spread from Nagasaki to Kyoto,
and present a special collaboration with KAHOU, a Kyoto confectionery renowned for blending tradition with innovation.
Experience a one-of-a-kind “Journeying Afternoon Tea,” where the rich flavors of Nagasaki meet the delicate artistry of Kyoto sweets.

Enjoy seven exquisite sweets, including the hotel’s original creation “Tamahibiki – Yuko”: a delicate sponge layered with Kaho’s signature cream bean paste and Nagasaki’s rare citrus Yuko. The menu also features four playful savory items such as a rich croquette of Nagasaki sweet potato, cream cheese, and brown sugar.
For your welcome drink, savor a luxurious Sonogi matcha latte. Beverage selections include the hotel’s original loquat leaf tea, roasted green tea from Nagasaki, and a signature coffee blend inspired by the first coffee introduced to Nagasaki, reimagined with a modern touch.
Set within a former chapel adorned with shimmering stained glass, this afternoon tea invites you to experience a refined harmony of Kyoto craftsmanship and Nagasaki’s bounty.
